Another productive day at Design Booster is over. We are approaching the end of another Booster, find out what our participants did during Day 3 of Design Booster, and how far they have come with their projects.
Day 3 of Design Booster, we focused on prototyping; discovering different prototyping tools, choosing the right tool. Our participants got to chance to work on their prototyping on their own time, which followed by peer testing and a session where they get a round table feedback session joined by their fellow participants and coaches.
Starting the day with a presentation on Choosing The Right Prototyping Tool, where our coach Filip Fastenaekels helped our participants to discover different tools for their prototyping needs. The presentation followed by tutorial on specific tools, such as Klynt and Marvel.
Second half of the day consisted of participants working on their prototyping and testing with their peers and receiving feedback.
During a peer feedback session, Pieter De Vos of Kings of the Road, shared his Booster experience, the journey of his project and the having to chance to testing with peers. He stated that during Design Booster, he got to chance to discuss his project with his peers and it helped him realise that the technical aspect was not going to be difficult, however it showed him that he still needs to work on the story- going back to script writing; how to make it an interactive, where’s the story ending. In terms of prototyping, he noted that it was helpful to get into that mindset, and getting the chance to work mass with the tool like Klynt was fun and interesting to discover the possibilities that it comes with it.
